Well id say my Jr.s Prospect evaluations are pretty accurate. If people dont like it thats their issue. Just cause I talk negatively of players we drafted doesnt mean I dont know anything. - hubie
Well, I was semi joking. I'm not one to assume who knows what. Do you have anything published? Also, I know you watch a lot of junior games. |

Hmm yea, Danny Briere is what got us far in the playoffs. What a useless pile of subway sandwiches. No one wants that here. - TheSabresTaco
Danny Briere? If Reinhart isn't better than Danny Frieken Briere then take Ekblad. |

i am not giving up on him.. i just don't have high expectations either. at this point i feel like we missed with that pick considering some of the other players available at that time. - IndianaSabresFan
I was pissed when Forsburg went a pick before him |

If I really wanted to could probably do a blog but liek here nobody would want to read what I think anyways.

Well I'm not saying here.. I mean.. anywhere. I mean, if you do evaluations you gotta send em to someone right? Or do you just do them for a hobby. |

That misfit GM has one of the best draft records in the past 17 years, but that's a different discussion I'm not willing to engage in right now. Usually. Usually. Players are drafted within a few spots of their rank, with varying exceptions of course like injuries or bad playoff runs, what have you. The point is, referring to your original worded comment that you insinuated the Sabres "reached" for a guy at 12 who was ranked 3 is a completely incorrect assumption. - TheSabresTaco
I wouldn't want to get into that either because Darcy was a master at drafting 3rd and 4th line players but as we have seen those players don't get you to the promised land. |

Hobby, most of my free time is spent doing horse racing and watching a good deal of jrs. Like for instance I wake up by 7 everyday so tomorrow there will be a jr game on replay in the morning Ill watch while reading the paper or something like that. |

Leino is awesome in the playoffs - RynoBull
For one team for two playoff seasons.. In one very European based system.. |

He might be a good or great pick but if Ekblad is ranked above him by a good amount by Murray, take him. I've seen these reach picks too often blow up and end up being mistakes. I'd love for the Sabres to take a center who pans out to be a legit # 1 center, but if Ekblad is truly the #1 prospect in this years draft, I hope they take him. - GilPerreault11
Reinhart is not even close to a reach man... He's been listed as one of the top 3 guys in this draft for two years..... |

When? What? Seriously? Who? Name a "reach" pick in the top 2 that didnt pan out? Oh wait add a pick in the top 2 that hasnt panned out? oh wait i can a defensemen Erik Johnson
Btw Danny Briere had 95 pts in a year but isnt good? wait what? |

Briere is one of the two biggest pieces that got us to back to back eastern conference finals if he's as good as Briere in his prime I'm pretty sure fans can live with that... Name how many D have gone first overall and actually lived up to their potential in the last 24 years....? |

Eh, I actually agree with him on Breire.
Breire was a 65-75 point one way player for most of his career. He along with everyone else put up career numbers on our stacked teams for 2 seasons |

At this point I would welcome a 65-75 pt 2 way center he would score more than any center we have on the roster and would have a good 2 way game |

He was like..THEE guy for 05-07. Gotta admit that. And his playoff performance..delightful.
Also, we have zero players sniffing 60 points. |

I'm talking about reach in terms of draft ranking, how he projects compared to EkBlad. I've heard about Reinhart for years too, but have also heard/read about Ekblad. Too many fans need immediate gratification and want the center even though he may not be the best player available and I believe in taking the best player available, especially if he grades out substantially higher. |

..... Briere in his prime was a top end center in the league... you don't get 95 points by just playing on a good team that's BS... If Reinhart is as good as Briere from 03-08 It would still be a great move. Briere and Drury were the main reasons we were good those two years... Need more proof? How'd we do the year after they both left... |

Valid point, I pick McDavid over the rest of 2015 by a mile. THAT'S a case of BPA. 2014, BPA doesn't exist 1-4. |

Danny Briere was a 2nd line, small center who had a couple really good seasons in a run and gun, transition system that Lindy utilized. Max had 80 points one year too. Does that make him a 1st line winger? |
