Man, Loui Eriksson nearly got himself killed by Alex Ovechkin -- Ovechkin got nailed with a charge, but Eriksson tried to duck into the hit and Ovechkin nearly killed him

Good thing the Caps have Ovechkin instead of Bergeron. They'd have no chance the other way around.

London is playing Guelph in round 2, that's a really tough matchup without their best goalie & D man who broke his leg in the last game.

Good day hooligans.

Missed the game yesterday, read over Bill's synopsis and watched some of the highlights.

Just a couple questions, if some of you have an extra minute.

How did LeCavalier look, TSN and Bill stated he was demoted to the fourth line?

How did they overall look? Another "flip the switch" game, or a solid all round performance?

Thanks in advance.

That's okay because apparently Vanek will be arriving in the offseason. Kind of interesting that Minneapolis has become the trendy place to play in the NHL.

Yes, steady presence. Should still be a good series.

Vinny played well on the 4th line. It was a very sluggish game for both teams. I wouldn't say either team played well. Toronto just played worse.

Mason had a strong game. Giroux had 3 points, but I wouldn't call it a dominant performance. His goal was an absolute snipe off of a JVR turnover. His assists were good face-offs wins.

Ha! Don't laugh, but Vinny was the best forward on the ice last night, followed closely by Scorachek and Zac Rinaldo...Vinny's line, which was the fourth line, was the best line in the game

They looked bad for about...35 minutes of the game. Average for another 15, good for about 10

Mason was damn good, MacDonald and Coburn were good. A few people really liked how Streit played last night; I thought he was a bit soft at first but was better as the game went on

literally 4 or 5 minutes of domination by the caps, bruins could have been shorthanded 5 times. finally get mez and on the pp they continue to get away with more and then that horsedookie call on ovie.....boy i really hope tim peel isn't working our game tomorrow

They've been pretty thin on defense all year. Maybe this series goes 7 games and London wins. That way Stolie would be back for the next series. Thats what I'm hoping. If they don't make the OHL finals, i'm not feeling as strong about my pick of Oshawa.

Aiden Jamieson is the one who will likely step in and play.

That was a bad call on Ovechkin -- definitely a turning point. Probably was a tough call in real time, but in replay that was clearly not a charge and Eriksson effed up and nearly got himself killed all on his own

It would be really unfortunate if they lose this series quickly because Stolarz would then be forced to miss Memorial Cup games. At the very least, they need this series to go deep.

If Stolarz can't serve entire length of the suspension before Memorial Cup (aka LDN gets eliminated next rd), suspension will be reviewed

Who will Rimouski potentially play in the 2nd round? Morin at least had a very impressive stat line in the first round.

Kuznetsov pads his stats with less than a minute left; 4-2 final, B's win

Caps with only 25 ROWs...they already were in a world of hurt, and now their pain is palpable

Thanks you two, have to say its nice to see Vinny bumped down to the fourth line.

They wont be able to win all of their games, especially with such a taxing schedule against solid teams. I just want to see Mason get into a nice solid groove down the stretch here. That will be key going forward.
