Oilers GM Craig MacTavish wants to be active. He has been trying to move forward Ales Hemsky since last summer and might be able to find a taker by Wednesday. Here’s an interesting tidbit: I’m told Edmonton has made a pitch for Montreal defenceman Andrei Markov. The club would like a big veteran to stabilize its defence and Markov hasn’t been able to come to an agreement with the Habs on a new deal. The Oilers might be willing to ante up the three-year contract Markov wants. This may not happen at the deadline but Edmonton could make a pitch on July 1. If Markov is to be moved at this stage the Habs want a prospect and a pick ... The Panthers will talk about an extension with defenceman Tom Gilbert. He’s had a good year but GM Dale Tallon will get call ... With Ryan Miller gone to St. Louis, Minny will turn its attention to getting a goalie. Two options: New Jersey’s Martin Brodeur and Florida’s Tim Thomas.

I lifted this from a Bruce Garrioch (sp?) article... think there is any truth to it? Mac T was talking about "revisiting" something in the offseason, on the latest episode of Oil change (which is a poopty show, BTW, full of propaganda).

I would not be too surprised if Markov is offered a lucrative 2-3 deal from Edmonton this summer.

Isn't Markov a vag tho? Soft as butter and always hurt?

I'd be fine with him, as long as he isn't hurt to much. 2 year deal doesn't hurt us to bad for the cap. I'm all for it, beats trading half the team for a solid #1 guy

Yeah, my sister in law (who used to be fat annoying twat before she lost 100lbs, now she's just an annoying Twat) is a rep for them. She brought cases and cases of the cans of CC and Cola over. Those things are nasty. Taste like the poopty highballs they used to serve at the REbar.

It is actually funny cause this guy that I played hockey with for years, would never eat when we went out afterwards, just paced himself on his Kokanees, and one time years ago when we offered him some food, he said it would ruin his buzz.
- ruttager17

Sounds like a cheapskate. I love to eat when I'm pooptered, but yeah, gotta keep drinking more to maintain. It depends on what your drinking.

The biggest issue with loading up on Donairs or Pizza is the barf potential.
Now, I don't get too sloshed these days, but in my prime, I used to do it like this:

1-8 Pints of Guiness with a shot of Jager between each. No Food, because next day barf was bad , black as crude oil.

4-5 beers before dinner (pound them quickly), pig out and hit the Shiraz for 3+ bottles. Seriously falling down drunk, but no barf. Next day my organs feel like a dried up dish sponge though.

Big Meal followed up by Gin and Tonics is a waste of time. No matter how full I am, I can pound the Gin and Tonics like water, but it's way too hard to get smashed.

I always chase rye and cokes with water. Doesn't really kill the buzz, but helps with the hangover. Too much sugar in the classic bar special.Food is a must at the end of the night.

Never Eat after 10 domestic beers. I can't speak for anyone else, but I get bloated as hell from lagers and pilsners . My stomach basically calls me an bumhole for cramming a bunch of grease down there after a solid fill up of beers.

I had that exact same figure when I was a kid. I would make him a vest out of firecrackers and put him in my sisters Barbie car, light the firecrackers and launch the car at unaware strangers while yelling "ALLAH ACKBAR !!!"
