That would be one heavy, thunderous final

That's ok Carol at least your mistake about Canucks winning streak was only here on a Canucks blog where a handful of people could see.

Glen Healy the biggest ass on TV also made a mistake stating that Canucks were tanking on purpose after we win 3 of 4 and lost in OT.

He also failed to mention his favourite team losing 8 straight.

How someone that mentally challenged gets on in front of millions is mind blowing. This is why many Canadians are happy to see a reputable company as SNet take over from these clowns.

- VANTEL

Right because SN is so much better. oh well it looks like Montreal will be the only Canadian team in the playoffs.

No trade, we will go from picking 10th to somewhere between 8-5th just because we get lucky in the draft.
- pker2theend

that would have to involve a trade then

I think stl beats Boston. I think hawks and blues have a epic western conferance final
- Bieksa#3

injuries will probably be the deciding factor. I'd take a healthy hawks team vs Stl though.

Careful. The Lames organization has been shut down for the better part of a decade
- Bieksa#3

not sure what team you've been watching. they're way more competitive then the canucks this year.

And even when they were just sitting 9-10th every year they never gave up

Anyone want Mackinnon and Landeskog in the pool? I just can't stand having that many leafs on my team.

Btw Gardiner and Franson for Mackinnon, Landeskog, Duchese and 1st. Colorado needs defense and apparently that's the price it will cost for Gardiner.

Well more competitive would mean they've won more games.

They are not much better but at least I don't have to mute my TV every time anyone but Friedman opens their mouth. SN is clearly a step down from TSN but they are an improvement from CBC.
The only good things about CBC are: video montage, Hughson (who now does Toronto games ) and Friedman. Cherry has entertainment value but he's not going away with the new deal anyways...

Chicago doesn't rely on their PP. Hasn't it been kind of bad or underachieving for a while now?

Ottawa will pass us. We actually have a tough few games left. Carolina as well. Top 8 is almost assured and the jets and press might even pass us.

Detroit is my east dark horse. You add Zetteberg, Datsyuk, Weiss Ericsson etc to that team and they might be scary

I would add Craig Simpson and Scott Oake into that mix as well. And although he can occasionally be somewhat polarizing with respect to Eastern and Western Canada, I think MacLean is, in general, quite good as well (not sure anyone else would be able to handle Cherry and be his foil at the same time).

But agree that the HNIC quality to clown ratio is fairly dubious (i.e. 'Heals', Stock, Hrudey, Mark Lee to name some of the most egregious of the panel members )

Do Canucks re-sign Sauve Archibald or Schroeder this year?

Kassian is also a RFA what do u pay him and Tanev UFA

I think keep Sauve on two way

Archie and JS part of trades

Kass 5 years 3 mil per

Tanev 4 years 2.5 each

Canata I think will be let golf he is I fact our property

Santorelli?

- VANTEL

Sauve can be let go if they need to make room in the system otherwise it wouldnt hurt to have him on a short 2 way contract.

Archie should be resigned.

3 mil is a bit too much for Kassian at this point.

That would be a great deal for Tanev.

Cannata fringe AHL player with Erricson and Markstrom in the system.

Keep Santorelli for sure. He showed more heart than anyone this season.

3 is probably more suitable for Tanev

Kassian less money per means short term. I'd do 4 yrs 12 mill and risk he's gonna be a top 6

This team is so bipolar and its frustrating to watch as a fan. It would be cool if this team were even remotely entertaining. But they just hit the ice, collect their paycheques, and go home.

What did you guys think about Jensen's play last night? Was his play earlier this month a anomaly, or does he have what it takes to play a top 6 role as soon as next season?

I will say it again, Boston Bruins will win the Cup.

We should start one up, just not the ones that let everyone pick the same players, I like the straight drafts.

Vintage organized one last year, on officepools. It was fun.

Edit: Why are the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League?
