7 PM Calculus class at SHU until 9:30 +/- every Friday. Woo-hoo!
Just about the only class I did well in that semester. - Flyskippy
I've got a better one: an 8 AM Calculus II Class, winter semester, for an 18-year-old.
I was happy with my D+. |

That was my Bio II, which was supposed to not build on Bio I, which I did not take 1st semester. First day of class: "...all of which is a review of what you learned in Bio I." Should've/of withdrawn... |

Well yes, that too (and, FWIW, without coming as as supremely arrogant, Crom laughs at a 10-page paper). But I was talking more about the female population. - jmatchett383

Agreed.
How'd your son's season go? Is it still going? - Flyskippy
His travel team was awful. They won one league game all season. They had to move him to D so they could stop losing 14-4 and start losing 6-1. It was a good experience but he doesn't want to do it again.
His Varsity team had a good season but got knocked out of the Flyers Cup in the first round. As a sophomore he didn't play much. There are 10 seniors so we're looking forward to next year.
How did M4's playoffs go? Is he still playing defense? |

He's right though, minus the TSA aside. I'm hugely tired of the vague injury reports when they bother at all. You have a better chance of the players telling you than the team. It's ridiculous. |

That's rough. M4's team won their semifinal game, 5-0, and then faced their rivals in the final. The final went to double overtime after his team tied the game with just 2 minutes remaining. His team prevailed by a 6-5 score on a shot from the blue line. I felt bad for the opposing goalie because he had played out of his mind up to that point.
M4 played defense most of the season. His first game as a forward, back in November, he scored a natural hat trick. All of the goals were less than 5' from the net. |

Unrelated, but I find it funny (yet awful) that Vladimir Guerrero signed a 1-day contract to retire as an Angel, and his last major-league act was to throw a pitch that his good friend and former coach Don Baylor broke his leg trying to catch. |

That's great. Good for him. It's nice to have a good season to build enthusiasm. We're just putting this one behind us.
He only has two years left. It goes so fast. |

Yes, there was nothing quite like being an engineering major and watching the business majors at Happy Hour at 3:30pm while you strolled to a 4pm Friday class.
