Tanking is the way of life! Embrace it! I'm thinking of tanking my finals so I get to repeat them next year with younger competition to make me look good!

My goalies have been poop lately, I'll take 2 W's, a 1.5 GAA and .960 S% to the bank. You can have wins and saves if you can take them

Fosco mentioned you put together last year's? But in any case, I know I'd be interested and have also noted at least several others who've expressed same. I'm sure if we get the word out it would be no problem to find 20 participants and figure out a draft date etc.

Is there a site that allows you to set one up where it's an actual draft instead of the salary cap thing where everyone can pick the same players? I'll set one up if you guys know of a site.

I used Officepools last year, it cost $20. There is another one, but the name slips my mind right now. I'll PM you the details when I remember.

I know that thehockeypool.com is also a decent site which I believe allows you to use various/custom draft formats (whether 'box-type' or actual drafting format)

I'm a college student with a part-time job so $20 is pretty significant.

I feel your pain, bra', I know that $20 will buy you at least 18 Kraft Dinners (been there, done that, and now have a very lovely radioactive orange cheeto-esque sheen to show for it )

Edit: although nonetheless, it's quite the culinary delight after you've had a 'few' pints

I just found the other one, hockeydrafts.ca, it's $30

These guys must be making a killing. I remember the good old days when we used a paper and pen, and had to check the box scores in the newspaper the next day to figure out who was winning

In other pools I've been, the organizer simply required everyone to pay an extra $1 or $2 to pay for the cost of registering/administrating the pool.

$1.50 per team x 20 teams = $30 (incidentally, it took me approximately 3 hours to calculate this. @#$@#@#$ you, geometry

Well, it's possible that we can be officially eliminated from playoff contention on Saturday. Time to officially shift my focus to the CHL playoffs!

Yes there is....

The guy in a Canuck sweater with the name "Burrows" on it is throwing the hit.

- Nucker101

If they suspend Burrows that would help get a higher pick. For that reason alone no suspention

Nothing wrong with that hit. Sucks he got injured but I don't see anything wrong with it?

yeah definitely commonplace for a player not to be even concerned about the puck, arms and stick in the air as he rams somebody into the boards who is already engaged with another player.
