I'm no doctor, but I thought it was pretty bad from Tampa's medical staff to let Kostka skate back to the bench on his own. Bad, and irresponsible.

all that said Engels, Therrien and his staff need to figure out why Tampa has such an easy time controlling the game vs. Montreal. there has to be an answer for their forecheck. they do lose hockey games...

Habs have to commit to getting the puck deep and playing more physically. They have to eliminate speed through the neutral zone--which they do well usually. And they have to capitalize on the pp.

These teams play very similar styles, and the game will look a lot like it did last night. Lots of whistles, lots of neutral zone disruption.

How come the Habs never have a player like that, coming out of nowhere and ripping it up?

I mean in terms of the pace of it, and things getting shut down all over the ice. I think a series between these teams goes 7 no matter what.

I like Montreal's chances, but I'm not underestimating Tampa in any way. They do play the right way, they're well coached, they have a good goalie (he's been great) and they have a scary pp.

I don't think Murray or Tinordi should play in a series agains the Bolts. You'll need more speed and a better transition game against a team like that.

On February 9, 1995, a Montreal team desperate to salvage a difficult season traded LeClair, along with Éric Desjardins and Gilbert Dionne to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Mark Recchi and Philadelphia's 3rd round choice in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft (Martin Hohenberger). LeClair gelled immediately with new line-mate Eric Lindros and quickly became one of the NHL's most feared goal scorers.
