starter is hurt and you're letting the jets of the league get 40+ shots a night on your backup

I don't get the blame game on Reimer to be honest. Seems like it's the easiest target and can get the most traction. Does he let in at least 1 poopty deflating goal a game? Sure seems like it. There's no way Bernier does that...oh wait, he sure as (frank) does. This Leafs team was scoring at will and that right there made the goalies the back burner issue. Now that the "top" line can't string together 2 (frank)ing passes it's much more apparent.

I must say it would have been nice to see the $64 million man score more goals when they've needed one or two.

The coaching has been atrocious and Carlyle was unable to develop a system that fits his team. As much as I am enjoying The Collapse, you would expect a coach to be able to evaluate what he has to work with and develop a plan accordingly. From the beginning of the season, even when the Leafs were putting up points, they were being outshot by a huge margin and needed to rely heavily on goaltending. There is no way the Leafs are as terrible as their record indicates.

Wouldn't it? I thought this was his year of finally shutting up the critics. I was pleased when he came back after the Olympics and continued playing well. Then all of a sudden, the team poops, he poops. Not one player seemed to step up and attempt to take control. Wendel Clark 2.0 was ripe for the picking to take this team and show what he supposedly brings. The Captain? (frank), the anti-captain.
