i think they're just petrified of his mistakes. beyond petrified. and fine. but the problem is, if you're not willing to love with rookie mistakes from your dmen, how are you ever going to break them into the lineup? - DoubleDown
I'd accept that if I didn't see bouillon on the ice every time the habs get scored on. |

Love how Service Canada demands french speaking employees to be bilingual to have a chance to be hired but having someone speaking only english is just fine.

Do you think the Habs should sign him to another year after this one ? - BashCH
if they sign Vanek (after signing PK and Markov), Habs will have little money left, weaver might be back if he comes cheap, he's current cap hit is 1.1M, don't see him getting a raise |

agree. but at this point, you have to wonder if these guys will ever get a shot. would rather have Weaver than the Murrays/Bouillons of the league. |

They're located in Sherbrooke.
I asked.
I'd understand more if it was Ottawa. |

On February 9, 1995, a Montreal team desperate to salvage a difficult season traded LeClair, along with Éric Desjardins and Gilbert Dionne to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Mark Recchi and Philadelphia's 3rd round choice in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft (Martin Hohenberger). LeClair gelled immediately with new line-mate Eric Lindros and quickly became one of the NHL's most feared goal scorers.

we don't have anyone else. you can't pluck Beaulieu out of the AHL and put him into a playoff series. Tinordi, especially for his size, is quite mobile. he'd be a better fit against Tampa than Murray, but my feeling is that he will still be behind Murray and Bouillon on the depth chart once the POs start. - DoubleDown
Moves like this are bold and sometimes work out. What about Pateryn ? |

just think it's a silly complaint given how many Quebecois have a job with the federal government because they speak French. |

i agree. but this Therrien/Bergevin regime is weird with young dmen. they want nothing to do with the ones who seem NHL ready, and they pretty much draft forward exclusively in the top 3-4 rounds. |

That is awful. Bet something like that would never happen in Quebec.
Holy poop is that funny.
Also, this loss is YOUR fault. - hscesq
1) It makes absolutely no sense for Service Canada's employees located in Quebec to not at least speak a little bit of french, just as it would be completely insane to hire someone speaking only french for the same job in Ontario.
2) At the end of the game, I said out loud : "Damn.... Howard is gonna put this one on me now..."
GF: "Who's Howard?"
Me: "Oh.... he's... nevermind...." |

Somehow, I can see Murray being signed for one more year. And Bouillon on a 2-way deal. |
