I think last time i switched they didn't ask me how many accidents I'd been involved ni they ask how many accidents I was involved ni in which I was responsible partially or completely. if 0% you don't say although they share data so whatever

I'm 0% responsible for that. It still counts on my record. Which is total BS. Yeah, they do share data...I'm guessing when you have a share of responsibility the price increases faster, but any claim you make hurts you.

Also, I believe the law changed in Quebec a few years back, so that even if you are NOT responsible, it is still your insurance company that has to pay...that's why the price increases even if you are not responsible (I know, this sounds wrong...but it's what I was told...I never really looked it up though)

My rates are dirt cheap and I intend on keeping it that way.

It's some kind of generalized provincial complex...We don't want to "too severly" punish the ones that deserve punishment, so we spread out that punishment to other parties as well...
