Then the fault of the accident was no poutine.

I couldn't (frank)ing believe it. The estimate I got was for $562 to fix my car, and my portion of that was $500, leaving only $62 for insurance. I said "(frank) it, not going to file a claim for $62 when it's just a small scratch on my bumper". Insurance company didn't care, and bumped my rates by $1150/yr....for $62 that they DIDN'T have to pay.

Called me at 10am on a Sunday (accident happened at midnight) and magically had "a few" quotes already and oh-so-conveniently had one that matched the maximum I said I MIGHT be willing to pay. There are ZERO body shops open at 10am on a Sunday, nevermind three or more that he was able to get a quote at before calling me.

He was absolutely going to take my money, and then file an insurance claim and screw me over. (frank) him, and the camel he had in the front seat with him.

Yep. My broker couldn't believe it either. I called her because I never got the renewal notice in the mail (there was a processing issue), so when she sorted that out and saw the rate, she already had a couple of quotes ready for me when she called me back.
