My uncle died this morning. If the funeral is Monday, I will drive up Sunday afternoon, and come back Monday. Not sure which day the funeral is yet though. Will advise.

you're not following. like, you're not even in the ballpark. i did not say this team was loaded with talent and i did not say that it's a top-tier team. i said they more talent than some people admit, and i cited examples. they weren't having a particularly strong season until this 8-1 stretch. they were having a decent season. and that hot stretch coincided with the acquisition of Vanek and him moving onto the top line. where they are right now in the standings, in a weak Eastern Conference, it's where they should be given their roster. please tell me who of the team behind Montreal in the East has more talent than Montreal, top to bottom. Rangers maybe? Washington?

But ok, you are correct. This team has more talent than what people think.

I just have a very hard time considering the Habs a top team in the east when they currently have 3 players with 20+ goals (Gally has 19.. should hit the 20 I hope). Their D is avg when you look outside of PK and Markov... and avg would be a generous way to put it.

Price is one of the Best.. that I can't argue about.

I believe what made this team succeed (again) is the fact that they found a way to win as a team. You gotta give credit to the coaching staff. IMO, they took a avg team and made team better because of the team play.

We all know that this team is very bad when they don't play that team game.

CAll me a pessimist... I still don't see this team as a good team yet.

In terms of players, yes. But you never know with the $$$ situation... If the owner can afford no to trade everyone right away, they are one goalie and a bit more stability on D away from being a good team. Also not sold on Spezza.

Toronto's just a mess, and they are under just as much pressure if not more than the players in Montreal are...I actually see the cycle they are in continuing for years to come.
