McInerney is on the record saying he wants to go to Europe and would only consider staying in Philly after this season if they came to him with a big-money contract. Plus, he's been underperforming since his Gold Cup call up last year. Fine, he may have started out 2013 en fuego, but the dude blew his wad and the fanbase was getting very frustrated with him. Cut ties now.

Time will tell if this is a good move or not.
