I'm disappointed in the way they have come out this period.

They can't match Columbus at all. No sustained offensive zone possession time.

I see G out there doing his thing, and his line seems alright. They cant be expected to always lead the way.

The other lines have been largely useless in terms of actual contribution for a while now, and its starting to cost them.

This can be a good lesson that G can't always do it on his own. The D in particular is being pressured really well by the Jackets, giving them hardly any time. The Rangers do this as well, swarm the d-men, and we know the Flyers crew isn't great at moving the puck.

The Jackets are hitting the Flyers D with their speed and causing problems, we all know that's a weakness on this team. Offensively though, need others to step up.

Yeah, but these guys can count, though -- it gets a little uglier now, with a regulation loss. It's not that you worry about Washington or New Jersey, but if/when the Leafs win tonight...that's just a door you didn't want to open

Columbus isn't a bad team, at all -- they make you work for it, and while I hate the "effort excuse," because these are professional athletes, the observations that the Blue Jackets are working harder appear to be very fair.

They at least are more focused on the task at hand and are willing to do what it takes to get the job done
