in the loss to boston that everyone was so excited about. did not hear ONE player talk about being pissed after either game. all i heard was how great the effort was. sickening. then to come out in the third and have 6 sog thru the first 17 minutes of the third? absolute joke of an effort.

I'm not being rude, it's just the Flyers will never beat a team like Columbus or the Rangers who just forecheck the whole game. They never let up and the Flyers slow defense just can't hang. Macdonald isn't going to make Grossmann and Schenn and Kimmo quicker.

I don't like the effort level in this game. It's worse than vs St. Louis and Boston. Still have a tough sched and I think they need 6 points to get the wild card. I think second is too much to ask for now. God damn it .

I think what they need to be successful is for that secondary scoring to get going. They need that more than anything if they hope to have any chance in the playoffs b/c everyone knows to swarm Giroux.

It now seems that if you shut him down, the team follows suit.

Second thing, is you have to see Mason stand tall. He isn't playing badly, but we need a bit more there.

We all know the weakness of this team, footspeed and a lack of puck moving D. Just need to overcome that. Hopefully they do. After all, after that horrific start to the year, Im trying to just enjoy the ride. Didn't expect a cup either way.

No offense, but that top line deserves little blame. They have carried this poop for a long while now.

Secondary scoring is almost invisible. That 2nd PP unit is a piece of poop right now in particular.

I don't G has been invisible. I think he's played pretty well outside of passing when he should shoot. He's not going to get 3pts a game. when he's not scoring others have to step up for him and that hasn't happened in these games of late.
