extremely rude - feelingkettle
rude is saying the Flyers broadstreet mentality will never win them a stanley cup again. Hiring from in house every time and signing or trading for big slow useless defensive poop
Lose Grossmann
Let Kimmo retire
Trade Schenns + for Weber
rebuild worst, overpaid defense in league. |

They could get Boston in round 1 - ob18
and it matters why? this team has no chance off winning the cup this year and if you think the first round matchup matters i feel bad. i'm just glad we didn't get that guy folin and mess w/ the mojo |

That Giroux is a better hockey player than Crosby?
Um, no.
It's just a good little phrase for the username and avatar. Yikes. - Giroux_Is_God
Was just getting clarification. Who knows, maybe I'd shoot you an invite to brokeback mountain if you said yes.

okay, there's a lot of overreaction after a bad game, and an offensive slump. but this team will still make the playoffs. there is no doubt in my mind.
good nite and good hockey ... go Flyers.

It would be nice to get a goal tho right? Rask up next! |

Definitely.
Games like this really just find a way to slightly irritate me. Holmgren is apparently a (frank)ing saint but JVR and Bobrovksy would look pretty decent right now. He has good qualities about him as a GM, but I haven't been a fan of his for a long while now.
Its a drum I beat. |

I had no sound. Was the crowd cheering Bob or was he clowning the crowd? - MBFlyerfan
I had he music on in the backround not too sure, I know they were booing pretty hard near the end, and the 3rd.
Goodnight and good hockey hooligans. Its a growing year and we must all remember that. What I want to see most, is the kids step up here. G cannot do it all on his own, and we need bSchenn/Coots to step up if LeCavalier is not. |

They play great games and achieve a rousing comeback in one of them against the 2 best teams in the NHL, losing both in SOs, and before that played solidly for the most part....they're what? 14-5-something in their last month of games?
Due for a clunker. It happens. Unfortunately, a clunker shouldn't have happened tonight.
Just march out there and keep on trucking. It's not like they're not getting chances. They'll be fine. |

Yeah, but you can't go back -- if you make moves in this league for long enough, then something you do is going to come back to bite you
I mean, be fair. Holmgren moved a backup goalie with a .899 SVPCT for a 2nd and two fourths -- that was viewed as straight-up theft at the time. People were calling for Scott Howson's HEAD.
They had so much confidence in Bob...they drafted another goalie that same day, with a high pick.
Laviolette (frank)ed that up, because he wanted to keep playing Leighton. That's what he wanted to do, and he (frank)ed Bob over in 2011, then in 2012, you get Bryzgalov in here for a lifetime contract...what was Holmgren supposed to do?
Bob was miserable. He wanted to play, and Holmgren did the right thing in dealing him to a place where he could -- and no one will ever convince me that Ed Snider wasn't all over him to get Bryzgalov in here

I'm not being rude, it's just the Flyers will never beat a team like Columbus or the Rangers who just forecheck the whole game. They never let up and the Flyers slow defense just can't hang. Macdonald isn't going to make Grossmann and Schenn and Kimmo quicker. - Winning
They did alright against the Kings, Blues, Ducks and even the Bruins lately...all of which forecheck solidly.
The Flyers are a great hockey team capable of going out and making a deep playoff run if they support the puck and move their feet.
Tonight, they were sluggish unfortunately....even still, they got their fair share of chances and couldn't convert. |

I think most people understand this but the frustration is coming from 5 straight losses. yes they played great against bruins and blues but only got a 1 point out of each. that only 2 pts out of possible 10. not too mention they play those teams hard and then lay down for big divisional games like NYR and BJ. maybe the same would have happened if they had played any other teams in those spots but the fact they lost who they lost to adds to the frustration. |
