I was debating putting Islanders in the 15th slot. They've been playing pretty decent lately |

I love sports movies. I love hockey. I hated those Might Ducks movies. LITERALLY hated them.
- MBFlyerfan
Yeah, me too.
I can't explain why, either.
They are kind of harmless, as movies go. |

Apparently we all agree that the Bruins are the team to beat right now. As long as they stay healthy, I really can't see anyone in the East beating them, or even taking them to 7 games. However the West is a different story. The one thing that may help the Bruins though is that whoever survives the West may be out of gas by the finals. Just about every series out there is going to be a war! |

Also, why would that be a factorial? Since they are not dependent on each other, you come up with the total possible point differentials per game (3), multiply it by the number of games left (7), and you have 21 different ways in which the Flyers can accumulate points for the rest of the season. Unless I'm missing something. - jmatchett383
It would actually be 3^7 ways the flyers can accumulate points by the rest of the year.
As for a simple example:
Lets assume even probability for everything. Lets calculate the number of ways the flyers finish the season earning 1 point. The only way this happens is if they have 1 OTL and 6 losses. The number of possible combinations is equal to
7!/1!(7-1)! = 7 Thus the probability of them finishing the season with 1 point is 7/3^7 |

Yeah, same. I just wonder if it's still watchable today... a lot of those 80's movies that seemed awesome back then are unfortunately not. |

I think Boston-LA Final with the Bruins winning. I think both teams are built well for the playoffs. |
