All I know is it still feels smarmy, slimy and like the bottom of a clogged toilet drain that two teams play 60 minutes of 0-0 hockey, go another 5 minute of OT with the same result and a team has to lose on the commish's obsession with one on one play. The shootout (especially guys who do 180 in front of the net) is the ultimate ho;ing of a team game.

I find the shootout very anti-climatic. I normally won't even watch it if the Flyers aren't involved.

I just hate that its designated as a 'win' and 'loss'. Flyers have 'lost' 2 in a row, but not really.

You don't think they skated off the ice feeling like they lost? They may talk about getting a point and playing the Blues to a stand still but the team felt both of those last two losses as losses.
