With the minuscule number of 30 goal scorers in the league right now, I'd be happy with 20 goals 50 assist by Dany. That's very doable for him, he's got 14 in his worst year in years.

Canucks need multiple 20 goal guys to be relevant again. Look at the top team vs the bottom teams, depth depth and more depth. Hockey IQ, skill and speed.

Product of the system. I was almost on board for Torts with the December win streak but things changed. A defensive style is gonna get you some wins but when you see guys like Henrik and Daniel getting injured and not scoring the system is failing. These are elite players and if JT can't get them going there is a major flaw in the system.

I'm still on the fence with MG personally. I know you and many others want him gone, but I'm a sucker for the GM's who actually value the in-depth numbers instead of the guys like Nonis and Burke. Lombardi, the Kings GM is also one of those guys. I'm not sure how much Detroit uses them.
