I think MG is very cognizant of signing players after significant injuries. He let Manny, Mitchel walk because of that. Only signed Raymond to 1 yr to see if he healed properly and then let him walk.

I would not say that. Booth was traded for Sammy and Sturm. Sammy was always injured and could not stay healthy for any2 week stretch and Sturm was also in the same boat. That deal was to get the least injured player. Plus he got a 3rd.
