Ya its definately everyones fault. GM made some bad decisions along with the owners (Luongo/Schneider/Torts)...Torts isn't the right coach for this group of guys...and the players weren't into the system and didn't play well (and were honestly plagued by injuries).

I don't mind the core group. This would be my lineup for the top 6

I like Bieksa, Hamhuis, Edler, Garrison...

Keep Lack for a backup and maybe make a run at Hiller or Elliott this offseason???

Easy to say coaching but for the last two years the PP has been dropping off and we have been winning fewer games. I think we had one win in our last 11 playoff games . Hard to blame Torts for that.

Don't see the Jets trading Kane, Byfuglien, high 1st, Burmistrov's rights or B.Schenn, Coburn and a lower first. They'd want another valuable asset back.

Gillis's first year:

in (08/09) the team was 17th in the league at 18.8%.
In (09/10) the team was 6th at 20.9%.
In (10/11) the team was 1st at 24.3%.
In (11/12) the team was 4th at 19.8%.
In (12/13) the team was 22nd at 15.8%
In (13/14) the team is 27th at 14.9%

The major drop-off in 12/13 can be attributed to the players, or lack of. Although a team like San Jose has dropped from 4th-2nd-2nd-7th-17th over the past five years?

If MG could somehow pull that off, I'd be on board but the Jets GM would likely be run out of town IMO. Seguin apparently has off-ice issues, ask Dallas how he's working out with Benn. Edmonton is just poorly managed and doesn't have enough(any?) quality veterans that can control a locker room.
