If one player plays out of position (not sure why center is his "right" position but that doesn't hold true for B Schenn), but the line and team benefit, then damned be that player. Vinny moved off of that line, and the line went from pretty dominating to passengers. Again, not saying A is directly related to B, but it's a possibility.

It doesn't hold true for Schenn because he clearly hasn't shown that he's a much better center then a Winger. Schenn in the last 30 games has 7 goals and 4 assists as a center. While it's blatantly clear that Lecavalier is a much better Center then a LW. And in fact pretty much can't play LW.

As unimpressed with him as I've been, I'd prefer Downie. I hope he can be ready soon.

schenn has not played very well for the last 15 games.....Perhaps its time to give Vinny a chance in the middle....Schenn has dropped the ball....he had his chance and at this point its not working out.

Thought Flyersgod was an alias of one of those for sure, but not certain now.

That's certainly a fair assessment. Just because the first two years of the trade aren't good doesn't mean it's a failure. If Stolarz and Leier contribute at the NHL level in the future it could be a trade that works out for both teams.

how about would i rather have bob instead of bryz? think of what could have been if they kept bob and said "you're the guy for the next 3 yrs no matter what" and went after defensemen instead of a goalie. since neither stolarz or leier are nhl locks i think those guys could have been had regardless and last night i would rather have had bob
