As unimpressed with him as I've been, I'd prefer Downie. I hope he can be ready soon. - BulliesPhan87

Booing is a right of the fan. Booing the team when they play poorly has always been done. Crying about past moves only when the Flyers lose and never pointing out the good moves ever makes you a......
Not even sure what to call it. If you do not want to support your team when they lose please move to the west side of the state. They have perfected the art over the years. - mickel25
This is kind of a little crazy, no offense or anything.
Who the hell would point out areas where the team can improve after a win? Of course it would only happen after a loss, or where their play is turning into a bit of a concern.
I think Holmgren should be fired. Thought so myself for a few years, b/c after that Stanley cup final run this organization has been a headless chicken, overpaying for mediocrity on defense in particular.
Management and Snider included are the issues imo. Shoot me, Im not a fan. |

how about would i rather have bob instead of bryz? think of what could have been if they kept bob and said "you're the guy for the next 3 yrs no matter what" and went after defensemen instead of a goalie. since neither stolarz or leier are nhl locks i think those guys could have been had regardless and last night i would rather have had bob - hogweed
I'm pretty sure Snider forced that move on Homer.
People give Homer poop, but when he traded Bob away it was because they didn't have a buyout. They assumed Bryz was the goalie now and of the future. Bob was never going to get an opportunity to start with the Flyers.
I believe he traded Bob in order to give him a fair shot at starting and to save a little money.
I think Homer did right by Bob and I'm not going to kill him because Snider forced the Flyers to go after a high priced free agent. |

posting the exact same negative stuff after every single loss over and over and over is emotion?
oh - -davies-
Just like going out of someone's way to quote posts of certain users time and time again, or anyone that dare criticize the team?
There are two sides to every coin.

While a valid point, the question was, "If you always criticize past moves after a loss, why don't you always praise past moves after a win?" For instance, if Mark Streit makes a bad read that leads to a goal, and you post, "What a horrible trade, rack him!" then would you praise the same trade if he has 1G/1A +2 the next night? Maybe not the best example, but, as Bill's said many times, a large contingent of fans are happier when there's something to complain about. |

Maybe it'd work, put Raffl with 14 & 24, and have bunny center the 4th line. But really, I'd like Downie to find his space making magic with couts again. |

I meant he never mentions positives....ever. Win or lose. Also, I agree with some of what you said but not all of it. What you wrote is an opinion. As american you are entitled to it.

People just get touchy, and don't get the humor sometimes.
I like the difference he brings as opposed to those who blindly defend every single move the team makes. |

Since Homer made the worst trade in history, trading a young goalie for one of the best young goalies in the world and a winger on Canada's WJC team, I think it's about time the Flyers throw the season to increase their pick. |
