Draft, FA and trades.........can't just be the draft? After the next 2 draft's we should be pretty much set with talent. But just can't be a team of 19-22 year olds?

I completely agree and can't figure out why some want to sign high priced FA's this offseason to speed up the process. Build with patence and not put bandaids on gaping gashes. If you do that you become the Leafs.

I hate to tell you but Maximum Signal is one of the smartest posters on here among others. I've never been enthralled by your proposals on how the Sabres should rebuild either. They are NHL14 style.

I can't believe more people aren't excited about drafting the absolute best prospects out there coming up in the next 2 years. These will be the guys we will be watching for 10-15 years

Thank you . I am not against signing high priced free agents . The timing has to be right . You do it after you have built a solid foundation as your finishing touches. luckily Tim Murray thinks that way.

I truly enjoy seeing the Leafs fail and their games are so entertaining now that they could get knocked out.

I am ! All goes well we will be over flowing with quality hockey players in a few years. The key is patience. Some just do not have it . In their opinion we have already suffered long enough.

Nope !! As I said many times before . He wants too much money for too long a term. By the time we are relevant , He will not be . Timing is just not right . I love the area as much as the next guy but I do not feel with have to sign every player that grew up within 100 miles of here , just cause !

Well guess what, they were drafted in the middle of the 1st. So if you want to draft more players to complain about not being perfect, then let's go get Statsny and Callahan and we will be in prime position to draft more of them.

If you want watch great players, then sit back and be patient and draft them in the top 3

Completely agree and have been saying that all year. I am a "tanker" and damn proud of it. I haven't seen a superstar on this team since Hasek, a star skater since Lafontaine? It's time to build with quality and you usually get quality at the top of the draft, not at 10-15 in the draft or by signing FA's see the NYR's.

It doesn't matter where we draft someone. There's going to be someone who feels the need to criticize the person we draft and say that they're not good enough.

A good portion of this fanbase will complain when we finally win a Championship. They'll say it should have been 5 games instead of 6 or something stupid like that.

No kidding , you just listed the three bright spots we have right now . Besides Girgensons - and according to some he does not score enough. And some people constantly bag on them. I don't get the love for Stastny and Callahan at all .
