[quote=bluengold12]Could care less about the playoffs bring on the lottery and draft!

NHL playoff hockey is probably the best thing in the world

and of course we have the draft lottery coming up so that's a plus

Playoffs are nice but been over this in the past I cant really get into them when my team isn't in them... I'll watch but I care much more about things that relate to my team.. IE draft lottery/draft.

I like how Jeremy White put it this morning. Basically said that where we are is the "I've paid my dues" line in "we are the champions". I think we can honestly say that we have done our sentence but committed no crime

Bad mistakes.. Sabres have made quite a few..

We've had our fair share of sand kicked in our face's too but I fear the ultimate one will be losing the lottery
hopefully the next line comes true sooner than later...

With a top 2 pick we really can't lose. Most of us, me included, want Sam. Getting Ekblad will have us set for years and like a previous poster said we have a number of other picks for forwards. We hope for Reinhart but there's no way we lose with a top 2 pick. Murray is a draft guy and has never had an opportunity like this before.

I hope he starts to play like this regularly

I'd say this is Joel Armia's best game. Hustle, care, banging, defensive awareness, puck retrieval, puck pursuit. #Amerks still 3-3 though.

People are nuts to write of Grigorenko and Armia.

Just look at Gustav Nyquist as an example of what a few years a seasoning can do to a incredibly talented player.

Our future is ridiculously bright

I really hate doing this and this particular line up is a few years away but for fun I decided to put together a line up of what our lines could look like in 2 or so years.. Minus FA's or 2015 pick or Isles pick. I gave us Reinhart because it was too tempting.. This just being prospects and young guys it shows we obviously have the depth.. I think if the guys on here max out at their potential this could be a really solid line up. Again this was just for fun.

Ennis Reinhart Grigorenko
Fashing Girgensons Armia
Larsson Compher Baptiste
Deslauriers Flynn Varone

Possibly throw in Hodgson or Foligino as well

Myers Ristolainen
Zadorov McCabe
Pysyk Ehrhoff or
Ruhwedel

I think we will either trade or sign or maybe even draft a top line winger in a year or so, so obviously this is subject to change but pretty much the entire offense line up is new in this scenario which lets be honest is probably a good thing..

This with the isles pick + 2015 pick (and all the 2nd rounders) and we'll be golden.

Tomas Tatar played 4 seasons for Grand Rapids, think that helped him out instead of coming into the NHL as a 19 year old? I would agree our future is bright.
