Because Leaf draft picks are almost always busts; how many on the team now? Three or four? |

Both would be nice.
Subban was benched again tonight for first period. He could be a puck moving D man we could easily use if Garrison and Edler gone. Bring in Englund at 1 mil for # 6 D and the D would be set. - VANTEL
The only Subban we might see wearing an Orca jersey goes by the name of Jordan. |

first thought that came to my mind when I read it but in all seriousness Torts is gone |

Rather Garrison but I'm a compromising man. - LeftCoaster
I still think Edler will command more than Garrison. |

Despite his season under Torts, he's a great skating puck moving dman on a good contract. (Edler) |

I don't think he tops out as more than a MA Bergeron PP specialist. |

well his pre-Mcdavid-Brown career high was 54 points so you may be right.
The GM's who passed over him 210 times in 2012 AND 2013 are dolts |

He's had one poor season though. I have no doubt it has hurt his trade value, although there would undoubtedly still be many interested parties. |

It has practically killed his trade value. the former nucks blogger talked about getting a top 5 pick for Edler at the draft, now I doubt a team would offer anything more than a 2nd rd pick with some salary coming back |

In 34 games lol, he's four months older than Connor Brown, they're both 20 yrs old.
Neither will probably ever play in the NHL and Brown was a 6th round pick, settle down young fella. |

Completely disagree. If you think Edler, 2 years removed from an All-Star appearance, is only worth a 2nd Rd pick with salary being covered because he had a bad season on a team that had a miserable season you really shouldn't be commenting on hockey talent. I'm saying that politely because you're pretty far off base. And I'm not an Edler fan. |
