Ive been watching 1 of 3 games basically. I havent said poop about the coach this season. Its more or less what I expected out of him. He has been rather nice to our media.... its mutual so his Brooks type outbursts are not likely to happen anyways.

Lets follow what Gillis has said about Canucks style. He comes in and says AV has to change to a more offensive game. The season after our elimination in the final after trading away Coho and bringing in Pahlsson he says the NHL changed and we need to play a more defensive game. Fast forward to this disaster season. Gillis now says we have to change to a more offensive game....

People are so easily distracted from what has happened in front of their nose. The only reason some people have seen all this coming is they paid attention.

Kesler lost his A this season for a reason guys. He also is a back stabbing POS to team mates(cant keep his Richard in his own GF). He's selfish and his offensive game is not at all reliable. He is hated by officials. People have to accept that there is a level of cancer that surrounds this player. I dont even want him around our young players.

I don't understand why he talks to the media and puts his thoughts out there so much? Other than Burke I can't think of any other GM that is so out there in the media as he is. Maybe it's just because I'm in this market so I listen to the radio and sport shows.

You know I don't like the guy, that said, people can change their minds. He's learning on the job, which shouldn't be the case, a team should hire a guy who's spent several years learning his craft...like Nuckers suggestion McNab.

AHHH the defensive strength of the Eastern Conference of the NHL, a thing of wonder.

The only position I'd want him in is President just to sell tickets and attract players. I don' trust him as a coach or player evaluator at all. Not sure why everyone always assumes that great players will make great coaches/gm's.

Completely agree. Don't buy that Gretzky has done anything as a coach or manager. GM'ing for Team Canada doesn't count.

Even if Torts is fired, I want Kesler gone for a young NHL center who's capable of distributing the puck better, or a great young winger - and a pick of course.
