Is what it is.
Most expensive defense core in the NHL, all praise Holmgren the saint... But hey, footspeed isn't an issue with the team.
Berube needs to switch up lines 2 and 3. - flyer_nutter
No way in hell I want to put that 2nd line out against the other teams top line.

Well if they lose to the Sabres tomorrow, at least no one will be left to defend this poop show - PLindbergh31
They sucked me in with the turn-around this year. They have showed they can compete, so I do want them to make the playoffs.
However that lack of speed on defense, and bSchenn/LeCavalier have been really evident. If you shut down Giroux, apparently the best they can muster is Rosehill. |

Ahhh... the late game Giroux frustration penalty. Getting old - PLindbergh31
I hear you, but I understand it -- you're getting worked, but you're still tied.
Then you give up a backbreaker off a clean faceoff, then you get odd-manned off a shot that just has to be on net -- in about a minute
It's gotta be frustrating as hell

Speed is absolutely not an issue with this team.... yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah...

If this keeps up, we'll be lucky to see this team in the 1st round of the playoffs |

At this point they have to hide bSchenn and LeCavalier.
That's 2 guys, and not sure how you do it. Beyond brutal those two, led by #40. |

Luke Schenn really showing that top pairing potential. Holmgren got torn apart on that trade lets get real.
Just have to keep on chugging though at this point. They can turn it around, but will need much better from the other guys. Its all just Giroux and that #1 PP unit. |

I'm not even that frustrated with today's game -- man, the Bruins have been tearing people apart all season and especially lately
I'm still freaking sour about Thursday -- that was BS against Columbus and that was an important game and it seemed like nobody gave a poop |

effort wasn't there like last game against Boston but this kind of shows what this team really is: middle of the pack, bubble playoff team. watching boston respond (both after flyer goals, and after a 2 game losing streak) really shows how far apart these teams are. |

extremely disappointing. didn't bring enough. can't blame emery on this either. i had a terrible feeling after his failed clear turned into a faceoff that the bruins would score on that draw and they did. the flyers stopped playing after that. 6 minutes left and they come away with nothing.
they're poopting the bed. |

Have to switch things up there somehow. Not sure at all what the solution is, bSchenn and LeCavalier should be playing on the fourth line if at all. |

At least the stretch of consecutive games against playoff teams is over.
Just make the playoffs and get this ship righted before the playoffs start. |

The two games before this they lost to a depleted Wings team, and the Leafs.
Not good enough by the Flyers today. Amazing how this franchise plays with such complacency at times. They act as if they have accomplished things. |

the bruins are an excellent team, and clearly better than the flyers. that said, the flyers didn't bring their A game today. not saying the effort wasn't there, overall it was decent, but just too much perimeter play and not enough hunger. they needed more today, especially against a team like that. |

I've got to hope they win vs buffalo Carolina and Florida. I really didn't expect them to get points today. If they get to 93 points. They should be able get a wild card spot with that. Issue then becomes facing Boston first round. |
