I, honestly, believe Schenn and Vinny are difficult to play with. They seem to need the right linemates. Kind of like the way all of our defenseman (Except Kimmo) need a good partner in order to be effective.

I think dropping Voracek to 2nd line and getting G a sniper on the LW would do wonders for the top 6. You know they'll take a run at Vanek.

I think Raffl is a good fit for that line. They need someone who is going to be responsible defensively. Raffl also adds speed to that line. They really just need Downie back so the third line doesn't take a step back when Raffl moves up.

I'd rather them spend their money elsewhere. Vanek will cost a ton. Flyers aren't really hurting for scoring.

I've been saying it for a while- the 2nd line wing spot is open.

We've also been preaching Akeson is "one of those players" that just can't play in the bottom 6 in the NHL and be successful, and I do agree with that. But there's a top 6 spot open for him.
