Given the chance he can definitely show more than he has thus far in his career, that said, I'm not a fan of smallish players.

It is a shame, he has for the most part played outstanding defensive hockey but has not been given a real opportunity in the top six. That said, his offensive game was lacking in consistency.

That's true, i suppose my point was more along the lines that he is not a liability on the ice, if he was able to get a few more points i think the decision to to-resign him would be an easy one.

We can get him cheap though, and with our injury luck concerning the centers its a shame he will most likely be let go.

Because apart from the above bolded players, no one else at this point as the safe ability to fill a roster spot at center. Perhaps training camp will prove the decision easy, but at this point letting him walk, for what will be peanuts, is a risky decision.

Perlini sucked in the OHL playoffs, he plays on an okay team, but still that takes him out of my top 10 despite the small sample size.
