I'd be shocked if Perlini went ahead of Ehlers, and if the Canucks did that I'd definitely lose my mind. He's not a horrible prospect, but there's others to take ahead of him at that spot. Ritchie, Ehlers, Kapanen, Fleury seem to be gaining momentum.

Not completely sold on Ritchie, but i would definitely grab Kapanen or Ehlers at that point

Kapanen is by-far my favorite prospect, but i have seen him as high as 6th and as low as 15th, so if we have a 5-7th overall pick it might be viewed negatively.

Agreed, that's why i'm somewhat complacent when it comes to tanking the remaining games, 10th is about as low as we could realistically go, with 6-8th looking more like reality. Point is one of them falling to us with a top ten pick is a safe bet.

I'm not sure, but the reported deadline deal of Scrivens and two seconds isn't too appealing. We got a better deal out of Florida.....surprisingly enough
