He was a late draft pick so even if he panned out as a physical stay at home 3rd pairing D I'd be alright with that. Hopefully he's a bit quicker than Douglas Murray, who looked like he was perpetually skating in molasses.

Yeah it was the best race I've seen in some time. If Hamilton/Rosberg can entertain as well as Senna/Prost we will be in for and humdinger of a season. I really hope I can get to Austin in Nov.

Awesome race. The cars do sound bizarre with their new engines but apparently F1 are looking at amping up the noise in the near future. It's not too often you see such heated battles between teammates but it made for great viewing.

Maldonaldo hit Gutierrez in the side pod and flipped him right over smashing the camera and mount, the on board shot was amazing.

I read a report that Williams ran the last race with only 90kg of fuel. The tech we are seeing on these cars now will be on street cars in 5-10 years

Thanks for background. This explains so much in terms of what I know of him. Seems like he has changed a bit, but then again it requires a certain level of intelligence to see and adjust your faults.
