Disagree, I personally see this as a worst case scenario. Gillis might have been a dbag, but I like him as GM over Torts as coach if I had to pick one.

Hate to depress everyone but the timing of this firing should pretty much tell everyone Torts is getting 1 more year.

Gillis was itching to fire Torts but the owners weren't going to let that happen.

The owners weren't going to absorb 16 million so only 1 was going to be fired this year. Just be happy it was GIllis finally.
