You want Toronto to be a playoff contender? Find guys who want to work hard for this team. I remember when Phaneuf first came to the leafs all anyone would talk about is how loud he was in the locker room and that cool thing he'd write on his sticks "work hard". I'm afraid he's lost this. I'm not saying he should be traded but maybe we should have a new captain. I don't see anyone in the leafs locker room that could really fill this role other then David Clarkson, but his production is not there to be even considered for this role, maybe it's time to go leadership shopping on the open market... and expect to pay for it because these type of players aren't exactly in abundance...
