Skating pretty means nothing without the work in the tough areas. Back to a wimpy (frank)ing gutless lineup. But hey Ashton and D'Amigo will be our saviours. (frank) me.

Think it depends on what kind of offence. Run and gun/exchange scoring chances type offence only works if you have great D. Cycling/possession style offence takes pressure off D. |

Uncle Timmy better gut this (frank)ing team - jimi james
it will take more shrewd management than that. there are a lot of un-moveable contracts in Toronto and not a ton of high-end trade chips. Leafs, IMO, need to hire a shrewd GM (maybe a guy like Paul Fenton in Nashville), let him come in and assess the situation and put a plan into place. they don't need someone to come in and just start spraying bullets everywhere. |

Yeah, but that's not what we are seeing from the Leafs or Caps. |

Oh (frank) yes they do. It's been painfully obvious all season that we are small weak on the puck team. |

The leafs do not play either of these styles.
They chase the other team with the puck.. Crap style. |

5 things to do today:
1) Fire Carlyle and Nonis. Tell this team it's getting a facelift and no one is safe.
2) Call the agent of every free agent on the team and tell then their player will not be back. Get then prepared.
3) Compile your GM list and start making calls. Do it today.
4) Fire your head of scouting who has made this team better never.
5) make it all public so fans know you give a flying (frank).
RIP offence only hockey. Because that ain't winning you (frank) all. - honesthockey

I blame reimer for this game, first goal was lame, glove hand looking like a monkey ONCE AGAIN, and 2nd goal should of been positioned better or to move better laterally. Gotta anticipate quickly.
As well as the leafs not scoring on lindback..... yeah kinda pathetic.
The only positive thing i saw from the highlights was gleasons quick reaction to save a goal. Good on him.
Season is done, goodbye franson, reimer, raymond, kulemin, bolland, gunner, ranger... you will not be missed - DougGilmour_93

Yeah, I'm not sure how a team can survive the devastating blow of losing a 3rd line center early in the season. |

Early in the season there was a point where we had lost Bozak, Kadri AND Bolland (injury, suspension, injury) - is that not correct? |

lost Bozak for a while...Bolland most of the year...Clarkson and when we needed him the most we lost Bernier.
30 teams..only 16 make it.

and when the leafs were 9 points up on the last playoff spot they had all 3 in the lineup ... crashed and burned.
injuries had nothing to do with how bad this team has been game 1-80 |
