I guess this is what you are missing. We have a guy that is skilled and putting up better numbers at the same age, lets let him see if he can continue to get better instead of trading for the guy you want him to be that is 3 years older.

I see no improvement in the team with that trade and it could very well come back to bite us.

it's not about not improving, it's the type of player. Spezza never had a defensive aspect to his game, it doesn't come with age. Nor will kadri. Little was always a 2 way centre is what i'm getting at. it's not all about offense - that's why this team sucks.

should heat up heading into playoffs with Z coming back and Erikson.

that should help with the third period meltdowns you guys have had this year.

great year for development though, you guys kept your future stars in the AHL for long enough that when they came up to fill in they were prepared.

i still think brunner or filpula should have been kept, just 1 of them.

but they did want some big bucks so F em.

That would explain the laziness, lack of drive, confusion all over the ice and paranoia going into the corners!

i agree. My point isn't so much kadri sucks i have given him praise. It's more so when people are freaking out at the mention of moving him.

Since we're on the topic and you're a habs fan....for years it was rumoured that Patrick Roy got caught in photos with a stripper after winning the 92/93 cup......leading up to the infamous 9 goal game....his wife to get roy back slept with a Mtl. team mate. And on the day of the 9 goal game roy and said team mate got into a physical altercation which lead to Tremblay leaving roy in for the 9 goals. I just last week heard who the fight was with.....did Damphouse (frank) Roy's wife?
