I don't look at it as just a shutdown line. Couturier will get better offensively and Simmonds will provide a little offense to that line as well. He would be like a better version of Downie.

I think they were above the AHL. They dominated it in the playoffs against the best teams.

Young players get plenty of bus time riding from game to game in Juniors. They've already done a lot of sacrifice to get to where they are, before being drafted. And that's without getting paid. Plenty of opportunity to build character. And Mike Richards already had plenty of it when he was drafted.
