Eric Desjardin was the same way. Not to compare. But neither was a physical player. Doesn't make a player soft. He's a finesse defenseman.

Do you see them surviving round 1 regardless of the team they play

I'd give them a 30% chance of beating NY or Pit.

5% for Boston.

Outside of Chara, I don't think there are any defense monsters on the B's blueline. I think they have a nice mix on the backend. Their forward group is very responsible on the defensive side of the puck, I think that's a big reason why they are so good defensively. And that Rask guy ain't bad.
- PLindbergh31

When Chara retires - he's 37 - Boston goes from contender to just above average. He makes that team go.

Never understood this. Who cares?. Most, if not all, (Det?) NHL rosters are comprised of a majority of Canadian players. What difference does it make if the franchise is in the states or Canada. I dont know what thet get all worked up aboot.

Tampa doing us a solid as of the second period, up 2-1 over CBJ

Both teams, from what I read, are sitting players due to injury or wanting to rest

Woah! Woah! Woah! I keep reading these comments about getting Ovi and Buff. I say No to both. Buffy is a career minus player and to me when your a defenseman and you are a career minus that tells me you are terrible at your job. Ovechkin has been awful all year in terms of back checking and being scored against, however Ovi for the most part is not a career minus player. I could live with a guy like him but I don't like the idea of having two 8 million dollar players, Not really working for the Pens as they can't afford real talent to play with Crosby.

Huh.

Devils announced that Chico Resch is retiring, per the Twitter

It's funny...the end of the season kinda sneaked up on me this year, but this is the time of year when guys do start letting it out that they're preparing to move on and see what else is out there in life
