Word on the street is Hal Gill makes his triumphant return to the lineup today after a 45 game vacation. Hopefully Berube gets him out there as much against Crosby as possible. - PLindbergh31
Yep.. heard Timonen and Grossmann are out for rest. I expect Emery tomorrow as well regardless.. If the Pens dress a full lineup, I expect we might get blown out. I just hope that we don't end up playing Boston with this strategy. |

Seems like the Flyers aren't worried about who they match up with. |

Looks like it to me.. I think that's fair because they prob need rest.. The push last month through that insanely tough schedule I am sure took a toll.. I'm ok with it other than matching up with Boston. The 3 seed would be nice because if we do get through the first round, we wouldn't face Boston until the ECFs.. as I understand it. |

I'd take whatever comes.
However, if I had my choice, I'd rather play the Pens in the first round than the Rags or certainly Boston. I'd give another team the chance of upsetting the Broons. Maybe the cards will fall into place for us like they did in the 2010 series. |

Maybe.. I am very proud of how this team battled back after a bad start and made it through a hellish March schedule to make it back to the dance.
As always, a big key will be Mason's play.. I really think he will come up big in this year's playoffs.. |

This is so weird. It's bizarro day for me. I'm in the very strange position of......
Of....
Of....
God I almost can't bring myself to type this....
Hoping....no, that's too strong. Not minding is better. Not minding if the Flyers win today. I want Columbus in the first round, better matchup for the Pens. If you people could get your team to have just won earlier this week, it wouldn't have come to this. I blame you....so get your sh*t together and root our/your team on to a victory.
You all will have to counsel me on how it feels to pull for the Flyers. What curses do I yell at Crosby? If Scott Hartnell buries James Neal with a stupid cross check that leads to a Pens winning PP goal do I feel pride or anger at Hartnell? Pats or Genos? its all So confusing! - Emperor Filonius

The Sabres are a robust 2-15-1 in their last 18.
It's good to not be a Sabres fan. Or a Leafs fan. |

I think I'd rather be a Sabres fan.. 1 playoff appearance in the last 10 years (which happened in a half season and ended in an epic game 7 collapse).. Sabres are purposefully rebuilding.. the Leafs?? Signing a new team president so the fans take the focus away from the fact that the core group led by Phanuef and kessel isn't that good... |

I think he's going to be a scratch going forward and is gonzo come the offseason... I had such high hopes for him when we re acquired him.. |

I agree. I guess McGinn and Rinaldo will be in the lineup for the playoffs. |

Holmgren raped the AV's in that trade. Downie has been spectacular.

McGinn and Schenn...
Too slow on that play, and getting burned. |
