I sincerely doubt that. There have been some very bad teams playing since the lockout and before. This buffalo team is certainly in the mix, but to say they are without question the worth team is pushing it, especially when i doubt you watch any team like you watch the sabres.

You could make a pretty passionate argument for the sabres being that team, and i wouldn't necessarily disagree with you (hey, i've watched every game this season too) but i dunno. worst team ever? i'd have a hard time comfortably saying that.

I listed several teams that were statistical much worse. So, no. They are not statistically the worst team ever. They might be the worst team you've seen but that could be not saying much. There are at least dozen teams in the last 20 years that have been just as bad if not worse.

Which Is partially irrelevant. The best team isn't the team that scores the most goals. The worst isn't the team that scores the fewest. How many less or more you score than the opposition is what matters.

Statistically this year's team has neither lost the most or won the least.

I haven't heard any major player complaints about Nolan other than Hasek. I think that was an aberration.
Even as recent as Ott & Moulson saying how much they liked playing for him...
That should tell you something
Two vets with completely different styles & skill sets actually saying they liked it here even though the team sucked.
And why?
They liked & respected Nolan

I'm sure not everyone is gonna like him
But I think he's doing a heck of a job so far

There's been absolutely no evidence that skill players won't "buy in"
Just look at Stafford!
For the most part, he has the guys giving a good effort pretty consostently
