I really think Snow is keeping the pick. He has to give the impression he believes the team will be good next year. It makes no sense to give up a 4th overall pick just in case you are bad next year.

Principle point of contact to the had. Plus Soupy left his feet a bit on that hit. He would have been done for the rest of the playoffs nowadays

It's not "just in case", they were bad this year and got worse, the only semi good season they have had recently was during a lockout, and next years draft is supposedly much better than this year.

And Lucic was running around like a lunatic out there and nothing was done about it. He was already getting a penalty and then cross checks D'Agostini and should have gotten an extra penalty, but NOPE.

But, the top 5 are good players. Weren't they a playoff team last year? With JT back and the 4th overall pick, they could easily be in the playoff hunt next year. My prediction is he keeps it. He would be crazy not to. And don't forget there are rumors they will change the draft lottery for McDavid. In my opinion you have to take the sure thing. One in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Just saying in his 5 year NHL career he has played 1 playoff series. With the team pretty much admitting they have no chance I would not be shocked if he demands to be dealt

Lucic does what he does because for some reason the league won't touch him. Players like him are really dangerous and nothing is going to ever happen until he pretty much comes out and kills someone on the ice. At that point, the league won't have a choice but to discipline him.

I agree it's ridiculous the way they give him penaltys and misconducts. The refs know what he is out there to do and has a bad rep unfortunately.
