Question:

(I am not sure if this has been discussed, and it is likely that I have missed it.)

Once the Islanders make their decision on what to do with their pick this year, can they rescind their choice, or are they stuck with whatever they choose?

This seems like a trivial question anyway, but what if they decide to defer after hearing that they didn't win the lottery and realize that there isn't a worthy trade partner for their pick this year (or the offers aren't as good as they had hoped). Could they then decide to change their minds, or are they stuck with their decision?

2 seasons? A bit quick but I suppose if you manage to land a top 2 pick in next years draft as well it could work.

Thing is it's hard to gauge the development time line for these players and whether they'll all reach their potential or not. But you've got an owner with deep pockets and the new GM seems to know what he's doing so hopefully it works out.

One of my roommates is the same way. If I ever make a home cooked meal and we are both home at the same time, he eats like he's never eaten before.

Thanks for the kind words. Most of us are just happy this season is finally over . Now we are anticipating some kind of moves that will keep us heading in the right direction.

Np, It's fun to watch the Sabres do well because the fan base really gets behind them probably in the top 5 imo.

No one wants to hear it but sometimes the right move is to make no move at all.

I have 3 kids 21 and over living with me . I see it everyday . Between 7 and 9pm there is always a knock on the door. Either fingers or chinese .

I like this. We only have to get to the Floor, then no more moves. Get as good a chance at McDavid or Eichel as we can.
