Maybe the goalies are also being team players by helping the boys get some work shooting at real goalies?
- mohel

Exactly Mo. Gives them some work too.

A few things Hawks need to do as a team:
>Make Blues go 200 feet with the puck -- Blues have not shown that they can pass the puck well enough to be a consistent threat working the puck up the ice
>Limit D-zone faceoffs -- no careless icings and stay out of the penalty box
>Obstruct Blues forecheckers without drawing a penalty -- the quicker the puck is out of the Hawks zone after a dump-in, the more the game will be played at the Hawks pace
>Deny Blues point men the puck and limit their shot attempts -- Blues get a lot of action from their points -- take this away and their offense will be even more challenged
>Be ready for the Blues to turn their D loose on the very first shift of Game 1 -- Hitch is going to have to give his players something "new" to believe in that will help the Blues score
>Win the puck races, board battles, slot areas
>Keep shifts short, but make smart changes

I'd be a hypocrite if I said it was ok for Ogie to go over to the BluesClues room and start shyt and then condemn crackass to show here to stir it up.

It seems every year at playoff time some of the not so popular boards swell with commenters ..... Hopefully some of our lurkers will begin to post !

Maybe they should spend less on those horrid uniforms and more on bathrooms.

Meant it more as I wasn't sure what autzen was but thought it might be where the ducks played. Had to look it up to be sure.

>If viewed as a chess match, the Blues thrive by creating chaos in their opponent's own end -- getting the opponent to run around, make poor decisions and poor plays with the puck
>Hawks thrive when having the puck, managing it, and supporting it at a brisk pace
>Think if the Hawks play in a focused, clear-headed way -- it will be very tough for the Blues to win 4 times

Heard an interview the other day on the Score with some guy who is a sport business guy. He described more as utilizing the equity they have already gained since they bought the Cubs. According to him and some quick math, they already have a 33% gain in value of the franchise.
