It's great to be free again.

I'd just like to thank everyone for their support (except you Beav, not much love from you ) during this difficult time in my life. I'm especially grateful to those of you that took the time and effort to keep me company through PM's.

I maintain my innocence and refuse to admit any wrong doing. You have my word that I will not allow this blatant overreach of authority to in any way temper or censor my posting style, and I will continue to doggedly agitate the opposition at every opportunity.

-Ogi

- Ogilthorpe2

Ogi, and innocence. Two words that just don't belong together.

I wonder if he is going to wear his yeast guard when he returns from injury?

Load Hitchcock's weight into your spreadsheet and the difference between the 2 teams becomes worrisome.

Anybody got photos of what he looked like when he started coaching the Dallas Stars?

Yeah, people talk about how big or heavy they are, not sure why.

They just play a physical game. They are not big though, besides a few guys. (But most teams have a few big guys)

- carcus

It is true; I was surprised myself when I looked. It seems both rosters have guys that are big (although more of the Blues better players are big), but the Blues focus on hitting more. The Hawks do hit with more purpose in the playoffs (although I am sure they will not out-hit the Blues once in this series).

Alright I'm bored sitting in Business law class and wanna see some responses.

What do you think the caps could realistically get for Ovi and do you have any people who would have such resources??

As long as Ovechkin doesn't land in Chicago, I could care less.

He can land here....just as long as it's a short layover, enroute to somewhere else.

Al..I read your stuff all the time...and it is always top notch...But I don't like talking about a team making the finals when the playoffs haven't even started...IF Chara were to go down, the way any player could with a playoff ending injury, the Bruins would have as good a chance to win the Cup as the Maple Leafs
- captainserious

Capt....You see me write much on predictions?

I have a piece going up tomorrow which will have some odds involved...Boston is the favorite to win the Cup and they should be the chalk.

That doesn't mean they will and it doesn't mean I would pick them.

I heard this on the Score this afternoon. I won't be surprised if Q goes with this into game 1.

Great indeed, but Get Your Ya Yas Out....my fave.
- Return of the Roar

Love the Stones but preferred listening to the studio versions vs live. Someone mentioned Genesis "Seconds Out"; that would be my second favorite live album after UFO.

Even though Gabriel had moved on they sound great. Still probably my favorite live show...

The Blues possess the puck when they are hitting, causing turnovers, etc. Chicago with their skill possess the puck and just keep the other team from having it in the first place. Not as much of a need to be as physical when you have the puck and the other team can't catch you/take it away.

The Blues need to pressure and turn over the other team in order to possess it more. That is why historically the Hawks have had the Blues number recently, they do a better job than most at avoiding our forecheck and holding on to the puck.

A couple of things.

The Hawks hit back in the post season. The Blues do not like it at all. The one to watch if the Hawks are ready for this isn't Bickell, Bollig, Shaw, etc. Its Sharp. Watch his first shift. He sets the physical tone for this team.

Saw the lines posted. After an initial wtf? with Kane on the 3rd line, its (frank)ing genius. Match him up against the Blues 3rd pairing. Or force them to choose.

(frank)ing Amc getting 5 mil a year is hilarious. He is a 3rd pairing guy. Hammer is better and by so far its not even funny.

Welcome back Ogi. (frank) the Blues.
