It was beautiful! He confessed several times and many still didn't get it!

Real early on too. As soon as US posted, I said I accomplished what I set out to do. *crickets*.

Sorry. I wouldn't trade Toews Rollie. Not even for Crosby.
- Elbows15

I was amazed people didn't catch on when you used Toews. I was thinking "he should have used Kane, some people might believe that...."!

There was a phone conversation between US and I a while back...

US: What's going on with Elbows? Is he serious about wanting to trade Toews?
EK: I don't know? Could be? Then again, maybe he's serious...
US: Something's wrong with that guy...
EK: Yeah, you're right. (frank) that guy!

It was a clean check according to Talk on.

Now you have Tr Murray, who is old school and was quite frank, outspoken that a proper response was necessary.

I concur with Murray.

Hit me again, Blues team. I can take it. What, an arm/shoulder injury and Toews is out again. No worries. We will beat those bad mean Blues. We will show them.

Look I am just in favor of having some respect and dishing out some hits gains you respect. We do not have to match hit for hit. Just do not allow teams to steamroll us.

- jhawk59

When was the last time a team steamrolled the Blackhawks in a series? I'll wait.

Kane can go either way though Mo. Half want to trade him anyway. NO ONE ever talks about trading Toews though. I even kept saying I was kidding. Several times. Also bumped the post. Still it went on. I was dying over here.

I think I have yo disable the program that guesses the words you type. And not be so quick to submit

So what are you more concerned with here? The Hawks winning the series against the Blues or the Hawks out-douching the Blues?

That meme of the Hawks getting beaten up and losing to the big bad bullies of the league is sooooooooo phucking old and tired....

Don't compliment him. The funny thing is his favorite player I'm pretty sure is Seabs (if its not Toews, but really, isn't Toews all of our favorite player) gets legitimated tried to trade by some people and I don't know how he doesn't snap.

Is the answer Phoenix in the first round of the '12 playoffs?

That's the most recent one that comes to memory that might relate to being "steamrolled."

The only significant playoff injury the Blackhawks have had (if memory serves) is Hossa, and what the frank is any amount of anything going to do about that.

I never have bought the idea of a whole team being scared. A player here and there. Maybe. they don't last long though.

He did show up to that game in Rockford in a Seabrook sweater.

That's what I mean. A gag like that works when it has some believability to it. I could see people believing a trade for Kane; I was surprised people would fall for you really wanting to trade Toews. But boy did they. Some are still smarting over it. Well done.

Why do you think I finally signed up Rollie. It was making me nuts.

Do you really think they got dominated physically? I don't. They got Mike Smith'd. Guy was amazing. Toews wasn't healthy, Hossa was out, but that's not really steamrolled, that's just a cheap shot. And Crawford played poorly. Really it's a miracle that series was even so close given the circumstances. Testament to the skill of this team.

I used the words "might relate to," meaning the hit Torres put on Hossa.

Probably not, but it's still worth some mention. Just for the fact that you can debunk it so no one tries to automatically use it.
