Team with more regular season points always gets home ice. Wild cards never get home ice anytime, just like the NFL.

I think the blues take the first two games 5-2 but seriously, they betteer win this series. The hockey gods are smiling on the Hawks with all of these blues injuries. Even if they play game 1 they won't be anywhere near 100% they better take advantage of this gift. Hawks better not go in figuring it will be a sweep and not show up. It won't be easy. They still have to work hard and compete

The Hawks have a maddening (from this point-of-view) habit of playing to the perceived level of competition. I could easily see a let-down by the Hawks if several of the Blues better players are out. I'd rather see lots of the real Blues...
