Get on board for the ride Rainey !!!!! Hawks 16-0 BABY ! ! - mrpaulish
I had the Hawks in 7......1st round is always the toughest.
I'm really pulling HARD for Columbus. God damn do I hate Pittsburgh, and just to prove what a god awful coach Bylsma is.
Bruins will have their hands full with the Wings, as we all saw last year. |

I hate the pens, too. They didn't get an easy draw with columbus. I think detroit has the best shot at beating the bruins. Too bad zetterberg will be out a few games at least. I hate the bruins more than the Pens. Philly can be a wild card. I really like their forwards. Mason is playing well |

I think a lot of the east coast Media is going to shat themselves when the Wings beat Boston.
Detroit seems to be an after though for everyone..
Please remember if the Bruins fall behind the WIngs like they did the Leafs there will be no chance to catch them.
I really like the Rangers and Detroit in the east.
Also : Pittsburh would have lost to the NYI last season if the NYI had a goalie at all. Columbus could def win some games in that series. Dont know if the Jackets could win 4 games against Pittsburgh though . |

I actually felt sorry for her. Maybe she "knew" him personally? - Ogilthorpe2
I don't. I'm sure the money that was spent on it went to some good charity. Also, Rusty was kind of a fan favorite in Rockford. It's the only time the guy looked like a superstar.

With injuries and more stumbling than anything else as regards the Blackhawks (and the Blues too) down the final stretch in the regular season, understandably we are not ready to declare either team a sure fire towering giant in the opening round.
No, not after winning the Holy Grail do we automaticly claim Chg is going to reign again. No, not after a superb season do we automaticly claim the Blues are atop everyone else.
What do we know?
Well, likely Rockford doesn't make the playoffs. The ballyhooed TT returns! Yes, he does as a black ace and he will be found in the press box watching the games.
We also know that the Avalamche can be beat and that their blueline isn't nearly as good as the glowing forward lines and glowing good job of coaching by Roy.
I would like to see us play them and I wonder if we could emulate the puck control game or the game of keep away like we did in our first home contest this year against Roy's team.
Another unknown lurks more in the second and especially third round if we get there.
Is this team going to show signs of fatigue? Do we have as good role players and chemistry as in the last two Cup years. Probably not. But just maybe if we get that far several on this board may be excited should Morin and Regin be in and Handzus out of the lineup.
Knowing that conservative rely on the veterans coach, he still probably will keep inserting Handzus in the lineup each series. Hate to think a close game in any series could turn on a Handzus good or weak performance.
Well, as they say at the Indy 500 gentlemen (fans, players) start your engines.
One more day...AND they're off (insert Eddie O doing his best Phil Geogeff racing call). |

A new twist in the "Days of our Lives in Vancouver" soap opera - Kesler wants to stay...
http://www.vancouversun.c...ration/9742322/story.html - EKolb13
.....But whether Kesler is sincere in now wishing to stay, the Canucks need to make the best deal they can with him, which should bring to Vancouver a younger NHL centre still getting better, a blue-chip prospect and possibly a draft pick.

--They are going to phuck it up again just like Luongo and Schneider !!! hahahaha. Maybe a pick and a prospect . Not 3 assets for Kesler ! LOL . |

When Tallon made Beach the somewhat surprising 11th choice we conjured up a vision of him riding shotgun on the Toews/Kane line.
Now dare I say for 11 million-th time about playing a certain someone else as that line's LW. EDIT: I mean it is becoming an old refrain to mention playing Morin. Maybe close to the 11 million-th time Q changes wingers on Toews line too.
Yes .....Batman and Robin need someone to help knock out the bad guys. At least for a trial run I am intrigued how Morin would fit in. When we are going hard for offense, try this combo. Morin has some nasty compete, he has a good shot and he is a good offensive player. I will overlook his hogging the puck, which may not happen on that troika.
Well Handzus has to go down first |

Oh Q !
Top Line: Kris Versteeg-Jonathan Toews-Brandon Saad
Second Line: Patrick Sharp- Michal Handzus-Marian Hossa
Third Line: Bryan Bickell-Andrew Shaw-Patrick Kane
Fourth Line: Brandon Bollig, Marcus Kruger, Ben Smith

I'd replace Versteeg with Morin .

Yeah I remember the vision of Beach as a sheriff.
Morin on the Wonder Twins' line? Well I'd rather see him there than Bad Kris, but I think he compliments the bottom six better, and there would be MANY others who will get 1st line time over #11. |
