Okay, I just think as prospects go he kind of down there on the list at D. They don't even mention him anymore. Gostisbehere, Morin, Haag, Alt all seem to be ahead of him in the pecking order.

I've watched some Phantoms games and he really doesn't make his presense felt.

- mayorofangrytown

Well, Morin is probably another junior year and one AHL year away.
Haag is probably also AHL bound for most of next year.
Ghost and Alt are total wild cards at this point, but I figure Ghost at least starts in the AHL next year.
So, if you wanna replace from within, it comes down to Alt versus Lauridsen, and depends on what they would want out of that #6/7 spot.

Honestly I think I've had it a bit easy in the past because I have gone to a few with my girlfriend and usually no one is that big of a douche to start poop with a girl at one of these games. But hey, we will see. I'm debating whether to wear my 'Nova hat as a sign of peace
- mrhattrick27

yeah, ive done that before too. only at devils games, and other people were nothing but nice.

some of this is okay. some of this definitely isnt. if im just sitting there watching the game, the last one isnt.

granted, some people bring things on themselves, regardless of what team sweater they have on.

- stayinthefnnet

I have no problem with people just sitting there, but a story from Game 3 in 2012:

There's a lady in my section who I can't stand. We call her "screaming lady" because she doesn't know poop and just screams retarded stuff all game lone.
Between periods 1 and 2, there was a Penguins fan in the same row in the next section. She went over to him, got up in his face (like, REALLY close), and started screaming at him. Me and my friends looked at each other, and he said, "Hey, if he hits her, he's totally got that."

Those fans are few and far between, and the best thing to do is to calmly get security up there.

yeah, it would be extremely difficult to not tee off on that. but id feel the same way if a fan of another team went in there and started doing the same to hometown fans. if you purchase a ticket to an event, you are entitled to be there, regardless of what shirt you are wearing or who you like. however, you arent entitled to infringe upon someone else's enjoyment either. it would be a fairly simple deal if people respected one another.

I thought the same thing just days ago but you don't park a ferrari in an AHL garage.

Haag is starting to look like a bit of a project. I want to see Morin in the preseason to see where he's at. He's improved steadily this season (OB says, I've seen him play 6 times through the year.).

If they're going to lose two or three Defensemen this off season I think we'll see Gostisbehere and Alt make the roster or they'll bring someone in and Alt goes back.

The history of RFA's unsigned in NHL history. Go to capgeek and take a look at the lenghty list of unsigned RFA's. I's not uncommon and it's not a big deal.

Than you need to expand your knowledge because what I'm telling you is true and pretty common knowledge.
- mayorofangrytown

During the regular season, for any player to practice with the team, he has to be recalled, added to the roster and count against the salary cap for every day that he is on the team's roster and practicing.
So feel free to expand my knowledge and tell me how a team can just have any player they want practice with them at any time.
There are roster limits both in the regular season, and in the playoffs.

The slide rule applies to him. There's no slide rule once a college player signs. You're having a bad day man.
- mayorofangrytown

What section of the CBA is that?

Actually it has to do with age, not because he's an NCAA player. Gaudreau contract can't slide because he was 20 years old when he signed his contract. And the slide rule only applies to 18 and 19 year olds. So maybe you aren't having such a good day either.

And that information can be found in section 9.1 (d) of the CBA

I'd bring him back at 3. Let him walk for 6.

He's worth 5-6.. but time to reduce his role

Why does everyone have to do the work for you? If you disagree prove you're right.

If not, hold down control, alt, and delete while holding your breath. Don't take a breath until windows starts back up. It's fun, all the kids are doing it.

the first part who knows

the second part is up to him to decide

I'm sure they would take him back for a slightly reduced number if he wants to play, but I think this is his last season
