If you put Lundqvist on the pedestal he'll burn you. There's a reason he's called the king. As (I think it was you) earlier suggested, the Flyers need to gain zone entry through soft, high dump ins, fight hard along the boards like we do, and get the puck to the net to score dirty goals. If we crash the net I think we have a good chance offensively. - JAKEw1234
i think as good as lundqvist is - what bothers me more is the number of shots that get blocked by rangers before ever getting to him. they are so damn good at blocking shots. |

Yeah you can totally cheer and stand up for Flyer goals and stuff. Just have to tone it down a little and be respectful. I'm sure your son will get it. - Pixote Andolini
worst exp i had was in denver at a flyers avalanche game in the mid 90's. this guy behind me about 3 rows looked like a skinny cowboy and was giving me poop all game. i think we lost and he was relentless. he was tanked i was pretty buzzed by then so i said some poop back to him and he tried to throw his spit cup at me i got out of the way, my buddy held me back and i didn't feel like getting arrested so nothing else came of it |

And there's no reason for it. Even alcohol consumption doesn't explain it. People in large crowds, when they're in the majority and they spot someone who is different...some of them are worse than animals like hyenas, who simply run their prey to exhaustion or until it is backed into a corner, never attacking until the prey can't defend itself due to their numbers - AllInForFlyers
Thats the name of my beer league team the Hyenas. We rely on power plays |

Hyenas should totally go buy some high-powered rifles cause the way they get their food is shameful.
If they were really smart, they'd just trawl the ocean, killing everything in their wake.
Lazy Hyenas. |

Thanks for all the advice.
I think I am gonna play it safe.
Might wear something underneath and show it at the warm up and if the idiot quotient is tolerable in our area show our support during the game.

I'm not surprised. People need to get a grip. And to start smoking weed instead of getting all fired up on alcohol before and during a game. Maybe even - this is gonna sound crazy - abstain.
And if substances aren't their problem, than they just need to quit being bumholes. |

I've been criticized by Rangers posters for bringing up how bad it was 3/26. But it's not like it used to be, with harmless ribbing. It's really unpleasant. And I'm an old broad. Who picks on old broads, for heaven's sake?
of course, down here, with people getting tanked at Xfinity, the parking lots aren't safe even if your in home team gear. |

I still can't believe his girlfriend broke up with him because "he isn't good looking." Are 20-year-olds blind now? |

I doubt he's ready yet -- mentally, he MIGHT, repeat MIGHT, be able to handle sheltered minutes, though I honestly don't believe that.
But I sincerely do not believe he is capable, at 21 years of age as of this weekend, to be able to handle the pace, strength and determination of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
I just don't believe that is possible -- I watched those games this weekend. He's a very good player/prospect.
But guys like Rick Nash and Derek Stepan and Mats Zuccarello, which is likely the Rags' top line...how many points do you think they'd put up in a college game tomorrow? That's the question you never see asked.
Ghost is a very good prospect, and I'm glad he signed. But no way do I believe he's ready for what's coming on Thursday
