Injuries are a part of th game. Playoff series have a great deal of attrition. The idea of hitting constantly during a playoff series is to get the other guys banged up and slow them down. Every team does it. Rangers do it very well.
Ok for your team, but not for ours? - Flyersgod
I think there's a difference between hitting a player to set a tone and slow him down and hitting a player to intentionally injure him. |

Giroux is elite. I'll take Zucc is a good playmaker. Just dont say elite. Come on dude |

He would be. Althgh he'd not say it out loud because than he'd be a hypocrit.
In the spirit of Flyers Playoff time, I offer to hit him over the head with a beer bottle, throw batteries at him, and vomit on him. My sacrifice to the hockey gods for a series win.... - Flyersgod
I'd be happy in the sense that it makes the Rangers life easier, just like I'm happy that we don't have to face Mason, but I'd rather have the Rangers beat the Flyers when they're at full strength and I'm not hoping we send Carcillo out there just to shank Giroux with a pocket knife he has hidden in his glove. |

Michael Leighton backstopped us to the Stanley Cup racking up shut outs along the way. Has played 1 NHL game since then. Your stats mean nothing to me sir. |

Zuccarello has better vision and passing skills than Giroux. I guarantee it. |

Keys to the game:
1. Get Giroux pissed off enough so he steps into "The Shift" mode.
2. Have Flyernutter talk about Lundqvist getting a shutout on the rags thread. - Girouxsalem90
I will only save that for when the time gets most dire. |

The only purpose of throwing big hits is to injure. That is like saying boxer's aren't trying to injure the other boxer. |

Faster than Downie, more skilled with the puck as well. Downie is slow as balls - GOA88
I haven't seen a lot of Akeson, but I don't think there's a big difference. Different players. And different skill sets for sure. |

Keep an eye out on the little guy tonight. Giroux has better hands, skating, size, shooting and has world-class vision/passing but Zuccarello is right up with him in terms of the passing and vision. |
